Palm Pre could come to Verizon early next year
The Wall Street Journal has reported that Palm might start offering their Pre smartphone through Verizon early next year.
Palm Pre is already available in the US market but through Sprint Nextel.
The report in the WSJ stated that Verizon could start offering the Pre smartphone to their customers starting January 2010.
This gives Sprint enough time to gain as many new customers as possible with the Pre.
Palm Pre is a pretty smartly designed mobile device. It is being touted as the most formidable challenge to the domination of the Apple iPhone in the US market.
The main question now is… How many more years AT&T has as the sole provider of the iPhone in the US market.
Apple must be considering expanding the service providers offering the iPhone in the US market to gain more customers.
Market analysts believe that AT&T is probably the worst possible aspect of owning an iPhone in USA.
