LG to launch three Google Android phones this year
LG Electronics has announced that they are going to launch as many as three Google Android powered smartphones this year.
LG representative Chang Ma said: “The market is actually holding up versus last year… I think the recession impact is less than what we expected last year.”
LG is currently the third largest mobile phone company in the world.
They are aiming to achieve a 10% market share in the world.
As per the latest market reports, LG currently has a market share of around 9.2%.
It would be great to see some Android phones from LG. HTC has already launched a couple. Samsung has also displayed their upcoming Android smartphone.
