Microsoft and NBC in an advertisement deal
Microsoft has announced that they have signed on a deal with NBC Universal to help sell television ads for them.
Microsoft would be offering these ads through their Admira system
Microsoft Admira system is designed to use the demographic data to help potential advertisers to reach the market they are targeting.
Microsoft and NBC did not reveal the financial aspects of this deal.
The two companies said that NBC has been testing out the Admira system since March this year.
NBC local media executive Frank Comerford had this to say: “Admira provides us with the potential to help attract an entirely new segment of advertisers to the local marketplace, particularly small and mid-size businesses that might not otherwise be able to buy local television station advertising, which is a huge leap forward.”
