Google Book Search service improved
Google has added some new exciting features to further improve the usability of their Book Search service.
Here are some of the new features:
1. Embeds and linking capabilities: Google Book Search users can now embed books into their own websites and pages. They can also share direct links to particular sections of books with their friends and relatives.
2. Improved Search: Google Book Search now features improved searching for content inside a single book. The result pages show images from the books where the searched terms appear.
3. Thumbnail View: Google has added thumbnail view that shows all the pages in a book.
4. Plain Text Mode: This feature is perfect for users who just want to check out the content part of a book without the images and other data. This is also a great feature for users who use screen reader applications
Most of these new features are available only on books which are in public domain.
