China to work on cleaning up porn on their Chinese web search services
US based search engine industry giant Google has announced that they are going to work extra hard on cleaning up porn from their search services in China.
This comes after reports that China has again blocked certain Google services due to easy access of pornographic content from it.
Google said in a statement: “Google has continually taken measures against vulgar content, particularly material that is harmful to children, on the Internet in China. Google is currently stepping up its efforts in this regard.”
Chinese news media has reported: “Google China was ordered to suspend its overseas web-page searching services and associated word-search services.”
Google has also been struggling to contain the uploads of pornographic nature videos on their YouTube video sharing service.
