Apple iPhone 3G S customers facing activation delays
Apple iPhone 3G S is finally on sale in the US market.
The launch has been spectacular for both Apple and AT&T as expected.
However, the high demand for these models mean that some customers would have to wait for as long as two days to get their new iPhones activated.
Apple requires all of the iPhones to register on their network. And the high demand is causing high loads on Apple servers.
Market sources say that a few customers who purchased their iPhones have received messages that activation could take up to 2 days.
Apple iPhones cannot be used to make calls till they are properly activated from Appleās backend.
