Microsoft works on integrating MSN with Bing
Microsoft has launched their Bing search engine and it has been a job well done.
The company is now focusing on integrating the Bing experience with their MSN portal which is one of the most visited websites on the web.
Microsoft has already replaced the search box on MSN with the Bing box. But that means any search made on the MSN.com portal is redirected to Bing.com search engine.
Microsoft vice president Erik Jorgensen said in a statement: “A big part of my job is figuring out how I pull the Bing experience into MSN in a way that makes sense.”
He admitted that they have failed to make use of their search engine capabilities with their content portals. He said: “Frankly, that’s one I think we haven’t done well. I think in the fall that’s something we’ve got to tackle.”
