Apple iPhone 3GS manufacturing costs at around $178.96
Market Research firm iSuppli has come out with their analysis of the recently launched Apple iPhone 3GS.
iSuppli said that the manufacturing costs of the 16GB iPhone 3GS comes to around USD 178.96.
This costing does not include the research and development costs in addition to software development that goes into the mobile.
Apple also spends a lot of money in marketing the iPhone.
The cost of the 8 GB iPhone 3G at launch time last year was around $174.33 as per the same research team.
Apple is selling this model for USD 199 in the US market along with a two year long contract. The 32GB version is available for USD 299.
