Apple might offer cheaper iMacs by the end of the year
Market sources are saying that Apple is likely to refresh their iMac offerings before the end of the year.
Apple recently cut the prices on some of their notebook models recently which has helped them with increased sales of MacBooks.
With the economic conditions worsening, the company might offer cheaper versions of their iMacs to increase sales.
The new series of iMacs might be launched just before the start of the holiday season to make the most of the opportunity.
Microsoft is scheduled to launch their Windows 7 operating system in October this year. Mac OS X Snow Leopard would arrive a month before that.
