Rolls-Royce Ghost might arrive in India this year
BMW owned Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has revealed that they are considering launching their new model Ghost in the Indian market before the end of the current year.
This announcement comes just as Tata Motors has launched Jaguar and Land Rover models in India.
Rolls Royce is scheduled to unveil this new model at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September.
The company is planning to showcase it at their showrooms here in India.
Colin Kelly, regional director, Asia Pacific, at Rolls-Royce spoke about their plans: “Our cars are made to order and so our marketing is made to order as well. The Ghost is a Rolls you can drive every day.”
The car is likely to be priced at around Rs 1.2-1.3 crore in the international market.
The Indian price would easily be double that amount because of taxes and duties.
