Porsche Cayenne Hybrid might arrive in India next year
Porsche is expected to become the second global automaker to launch a hybrid model in the Indian market.
Honda was the first to launch their Honda Civic Hybrid in India which did not do well and has been practically discontinued. Interested customers can still get one by placing a special order.
Reports in the media states that Porsche is now planning to bring the hybrid version of Porsche Cayenne to India sometime next year.
This model is likely to feature a supercharged Audi 3.0-liter V6 engine in addition to a 52-HP, 3-phase synchronous electric motor. This motor alone is said to be capable of achieving a speed of around 86 miles per hour!
