Google removes webpage file size from search result pages
Google has silently updated the search result pages.
The changes are minor and most of you might not have noticed them at all.
The Google logo at the top left has been made slightly smaller.
Results on the page are also slightly indented.
The search box is a bit lower than before.
The biggest mess in this update is that the search result pages no longer shows the file size of the web page. This value was pretty useful at times.
It is not clear whether these enhancements were long planned or are they somewhat connected to the recent launch of Microsoft Bing.
