TechCrunch gets into hardware business with CrunchPad Inc!

Industry sources say that TechCrunch editor Michael Arrington has formed a start-up company named CrunchPad with around 14 employees.

This company is based in Singapore and it would look after the manufacturing of his pet project CrunchPad.

CrunchPad was designed with the aim of creating a cheap internet surfing device with a large display size.

It is a product that fits between the iPhone and a netbook. Arrington is expected to make a formal announcement at the end of the month.
