Amazon Kindle 2 now for just USD 299
Amazon has some good news for the potential customers of their Kindle 2 eBook reader.
The company has now dropped the retail price of Kindle 2 to USD 299.
It was previously being sold for around USD 359.
This would probably disappoint all the existing customers of Kindle 2 who went ahead and bought it at the previous price.
Amazon has good news for some of those customers. The company would refund $60 to Kindle 2 owners who acquired the device in the last month.
Amazon does not reveal the sales figure for the Kindle device. So, it is hard to tell if the price cut is due to falling sales or probably the cost of manufacturing have gone down significantly in the recent times.
