Rumour: Apple Tablet on Verizon Wireless!
The latest rumour to hit the web states that Verizon Wireless would offer the Apple Tablet in the market.
The Street is reporting that the device could be launched before the end of the year just in time for the holiday season.
It is expected to be a bigger version of the Apple’s current iPod Touch device. It is likely to have a 9-10 inch touchscreen display.
It might feature a keyboard but knowing Apple, it just might rely on a software based version.
The report added that the deal between Apple and Verizon would not be as tight as the deal between Apple and AT&T for the iPhone.
Verizon would pick up a part of the cost but the device would still be pretty expensive compared to netbooks available in the market.
