YouTube allowing third party ads on their videos
YouTube has announced a new partnership with FreeWheel which would now enable some of their partners to sell their own ads which would run inside their videos.
YouTube has been managing the video ads themselves all this time.
This new feature would benefit their partners who want more control over the advertisers in the videos hosted on the YouTube platform.
YouTube said in a blog post:
This will create a more centralized, streamlined process for partners in the test program, making it easier for them to sell ads and make even more money from their content.
