Porsche aiming to sell 50 Panamera in India in first year
Porsche is due to launch their premium luxury sedan model Panamera in the Indian market later this year.
The aim is to sell 50 units in the first year.
Porsche Panamera would be priced in the range of Rs. 1.4-2 crores.
The company claims that they have already received bookings for around 13 units of this model in India.
Porsche has overall sold more than 650 cars since they arrived in the Indian market. Most of these sales have come from their SUV model Cayenne.
The company said: “In 2007, we sold around 168 units while in 2008 it was 150. However with the Panamera we are hoping to reach 225 over the next 12 month period.”
