Microsoft and Yahoo: Closing in on a deal?
AllThingsDigital has reported that Microsoft and Yahoo are in talks and are closing in on a deal that could change the search engine market scenario completely.
Microsoft and Yahoo have been literally playing games with each other ever since Microsoft announced an acquisition offer for them last year.
Yahoo rejected that deal.
Yahoo has been struggling to recover from that rejection since then. Its market value is pretty low now. Revenues and profits have taken a hit.
They are closing down loss making services… Google continues to dominate the search engine and online advertising markets…
A deal between Microsoft and Yahoo could change a lot of things.
