Apple expected to patch iPhone MMS security bug soon

UK based Telecom Company O2 has revealed that Apple is soon going to release a patch to fix the bug in the iPhone related to the SMS vulnerability.

The problem is pretty serious as it enables hackers to control an iPhone by just sending it an SMS message.

Apple has not commented on the reports in the media till now.

O2 said that the patch is coming tomorrow. It would be distributed through Apple iTunes.

This patch also affects some other mobile platforms. Google has already confirmed that Android platform has been patched.

If you are an iPhone user, make sure you update your device as soon as Apple releases it.
