Amazon sued for 1984 eBook fiasco

Amazon has been making news for all the wrong reasons related to their eBook reader Kindle.

The company recently remotely deleted an eBook named 1984 from all the Kindle devices.

These books were paid for by the customers. The company also refunded the money spent by the customer for the eBook.

Amazon later revealed that they had to take this action because the book was sold by a party which was not authorized to sell it in the US market.

The company is now facing a lawsuit related to the deletion of that eBook.

Justin D. Gawronski is a high school student who has filed a lawsuit against the company along with another individual named Antoine J. Bruguier. They are seeking a class action status for this lawsuit.
