Google can now search for pages from a particular date range

Google recently enhanced their search engine with search options.

One of the features enables the web user to search for pages from a particular time period.

Options that were made available were:

Recent results
Past 24 hours
Past week
Past year

Google has now added another option to this feature. Users can now search for pages from a customized date range.

So, you can now search for pages that were posted between two time periods. Google uses several parameters to determine the age of a web page. Of course, this data is unlikely to be perfect by any measures.
