Internet Freedom Preservation Act bill introduced in USA
Edward Markey and Anna Eshoo are two democrats who have together introduced a new Internet Freedom Preservation Act bill in the USA.
The aim is to prevent any internet service provider in the country from blocking, interfering or discriminating against any form of internet connectivity.
It is going to form the backbone of the net neutrality implementation in the country which has become very crucial in today’s age.
We have seen and heard about ISPs around the world applying policies which hurt consumer’s interest in order to profit more from existing resources.
Obviously, telecom companies in the US market are not happy with this new development.
