Apple iTunes Store launched in Mexico
Apple has now launched their iTunes Store in Mexico.
The company made sure to have enough localized content to ensure the success of iTunes in this neighbouring country of USA.
In addition, Apple iTunes Store in Mexico also offer millions of tracks from the major record labels around the world.
Some of the local artists featured on this store are: Paulina Rubio, Vicente Fernández, and Zoé.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s vice president of Internet services spoke about the Apple iTunes Store for Mexico: “The iTunes Store in Mexico is off to a great start with music from all of the majors and hundreds of indie labels. And the revolutionary App Store in Mexico gets bigger and better with great new apps using amazing new features, and we can’t wait to see what developers come up with next.”
Most songs are priced at around 92 cents while albums are priced at around USD 9 in this edition of the store.
