Ford offering dashboard computer on some of their models
If you are looking for a computer you can carrying in your car, Ford has a solution for you.
The company is now offering an in-dash computer with Internet access and wireless keyboard for $1,195.
A company representative said: “I bet it’s the first time you’ve ever seen Google running on the dashboard of a vehicle.”
The package comes loaded with remote access, Bluetooth in addition to navigation service powered by Garmin.
Ford is offering this solution on some of their models including Ford F-Series, Ford E-Series and Ford Transit Connect.
The system is powered by Windows CE while Sprint is providing wireless broadband technologies.
