Lamborghini to launch hybrid edition of Gallardo
Lamborghini Gallardo is going hybrid! The company has announced that this new variant could be launched by 2015.
This car would use the electric motor in city traffic and during slow drives. It would switch to the gasoline engine at higher speeds.
The company has been already working on improving the fuel efficiency of their models by optimizing their engine technologies.
Going hybrid is just another way they are aiming to be eco-friendly.
The company currently has no plans to launch an all electric car like some of their rivals.
Ferrari is another company that is working on hybrid edition of their models. They are also aiming for launch by 2015.
