HTC Magic has sold 1 million units worldwide
HTC has announced that they have now shipped more than 1 million units of their HTC Magic smartphone worldwide.
HTC Magic is powered by Google Android mobile platform which is picking up steam this year.
This is good news for the supporters of this new mobile platform as it competes with Symbian, iPhone and Windows Mobile.
HTC Magic is similar to the first Android model but lacks the hardware keyboard.
Incidentally, HTC is the world’s largest manufacturer of Windows Mobile powered smartphones. They are already one of the biggest supporters of the Google Android platform as well.
HTC would face stiffer competition from this year. Samsung and Motorola are scheduled to launch their own Android powered devices and things are looking interesting for the first time.
