Microsoft Zune HD might arrive on September 15
You can now pre-order your Zune HD if you want this over any of the rival portable media players.
Microsoft has announced that Zune HD can now be pre-ordered from several popular online stores.
Microsoft Zune HD has a lot of cool new features which makes it a competitive purchase compared to Apple iPod Touch.
Some features include: OLED screen, support for HD video and radio. The pricing is pretty competitive too. USD 220 for 16GB edition and USD 290 for 32GB edition.
Market sources say that Zune HD would be officially launched on September 15. Good timing considering the upcoming holiday season.
The only problem is that Apple usually launches their new iPod Touch model in September as well. And an update to iPod Touch has been expected to arrive next month.
Zune HD has been making news for months now and Apple probably realized that they could soon have to compete with it.
We expect Apple to deliver a deadly blow to Zune HD when they launch the third generation iPod Touch.
