Apple starts investigating exploding Apple iPods

Apple has confirmed that they are now working on investigating the multiple cases of exploding Apple iPods.

The company said that they are waiting to get the damaged units for detailed inspection.

An Apple representative said: “We are aware of these reports and we are waiting to receive the iPhones from the customers. Until we have the full details, we don’t have anything further to add.”

The company added that they do not believe that the problem is widespread so customers have nothing to worry about.

European Commission has also launched its own probe. The commission said in a statement: “Apple have come back to us … and what they’ve said to us is that they consider these are isolated incidents. They don’t consider that there’s a general problem.”
