Yahoo Search now plays video inline

Yahoo has announced an improved video searching capability.

The search engine result page would now let the user play the video on that page itself.

So there is no need to open up the video page to check it out.

Yahoo Search page would also show the related videos when a video is played on the SERP.

This feature could help Yahoo as the user would stick around for a longer period.

Incidentally, Google Search had a similar feature which was disabled a while ago.

Microsoft Bing Video Search is pretty popular as it allows the user to preview a video just by hovering the cursor on it.
