Apple iPhone launch in China confirmed!
It is now confirmed that Apple iPhone is coming to the Chinese market (officially!).
Apple and China Unicom have together announced a multi-year deal that would enable mobile users in the country to get an iPhone.
Apple spoke about their deal with China Unicom: “We have signed a multi-year deal with China Unicom to bring iPhone to China, and we expect the launch to be in the fourth quarter of 2009.”
This is good news for Apple as China is the biggest mobile market in the world.
Apple fans in China are already able to get iPhones unofficially which are unlocked and sold in the country.
China Unicom said that they would reveal the pricing in the coming weeks.
