China Telecom said to be interested in Palm Pre
China Unicom has just announced a three year long deal with Apple which would enable them to sell the iPhone in China.
This has put tremendous pressure on the rival mobile service provider China Mobile.
Industry sources claim that China Mobile is considering bringing the Palm Pre smartphone on their network.
They are already in talks with Research in Motion to launch Blackberry smartphones in China.
China Mobile is incidentally already working with Dell on a new smartphone model that could soon arrive in the markets.
