Google patents their homepage!
Google has managed to create history in the recent years with what they have achieved in this time period.
It all began with their homepage which continues to remain pretty basic compared to the offerings by their competition.
The company filed a patent application for their homepage and they have been granted one finally.
Google has been given a patent for a “Graphical user interface for a display screen of a communications terminal”.
Does this mean that Google can now target web services which have a similar design and layout for their homepages? Only time will tell!
