Apple might launch readymade ringtones for the iPhone
Industry sources have revealed that Apple has gained permission to sell readymade ringtones from popular songs for their Apple iPhone smartphone.
The company is now working hard to get the service ready for the upcoming media event where the company is likely to launch the next generation iPod Touch.
Apple iPhone users have been able to make their own ringtones using third party software.
This new service would enable them to purchase them from the Apple iTunes store.
It remains to be seen if Apple indeed launches this service in the coming days. And whether customers would be ready to pay for snippets of songs!
