Sony Walkman manages to outsell Apple iPod in Japan!
Sony has managed to accomplish the impossible.
The company’s walkman branded digital media players have managed to outsell the Apple iPod for the first time in several years in the Japanese market.
This was achieved in the week ending August 30.
Apple still managed to sell many more devices if we account for their iPhone smartphone which includes the iPod Touch functionalities.
It still is a milestone for Sony Walkman which has been struggling to compete against the Apple iPod range.
