Motorola Cliq: latest Google Android smartphone
US based mobile phone maker Motorola has just announced their first smartphone to be powered by Google Android platform.
Motorola Cliq is a touchscreen smartphone that would go on sale through US carrier T-Mobile.
The company seems to be pretty impressed with the Android platform. Motorola said: “Android gives us a platform to innovate and enhance user experiences.”
Motorola claims that Cliq is the first smartphone in the market with social skills. It has been designed to provide extensive connectivity with networks like Facebook, MySpace and Twitter.
It is also optimized for various Google services that are optimized for the mobile devices.
Motorola added that Cliq would be one of the two Android devices they are aiming to launch in the market this year.
