Google might soon enter Video Blogging Scene

Google acquired Blogger.com some time ago which has practically revolutionized the concept of weblogging on the Internet. Earlier, it was a domain of few people but now it is as common to have a Blog, as it is to have an email id. Blogging has led to many extensive online networks and it has led to raising awareness about issues. Overall, it put the power to express oneself in the hands of the common people and that makes it hot on the Internet.

The search engine giant is now considering entering the Video Blogging scene with a test service expected to be launched in the coming days. They would in addition also take their video searching search engine to the next level for which they would soon be accepting video clippings archive from the users.

Rumors claim that the company is already testing a Video Blogging application to see the possibilities in the concept. The co-founder of the company Larry Page was quite excited while explaining the concept to the media as he said: “In the next few days, we’re actually going to start taking video submissions from people, and we’re not quite sure what we’re going to get, but we decided we’d try this experiment.”

Not many details were revealed in this statement but it sure would ring alarms in the competition’s camp in the form of Yahoo! and Microsoft.
