On Demand Books can deliver physical copies of online books
On Demand Books is collaborating with Google to enable them to offer services to convert books hosted on its service into physical copies.
The company would now get access to a limited number of books indexed by Google.
On Demand Books provide solutions enabling users to get a physical version of the book in a couple of minutes.
The Espresso Book Machine has existed for years now but it is now gaining popularity due to increased availability of digital media.
Google spokeswoman Jennie Johnson spoke about their collaboration: “This will allow people to pick up the physical copy of a book even if there may be just one or two other copies in some library in this country, or maybe it’s not even available in this country at all.”
