Palm discards Windows Mobile for webOS
Palm has announced that they are not going to develop any more smartphones powered by Windows Mobile.
The company recently launched the Pre phone based on their new mobile platform named webOS.
Palm said that all of their future offerings would be based on webOS.
The company added that they have signed on some new deals which would see the launch of Pre in some new markets.
It would arrive in Europe through Telefonica.
Palm is also scheduled to launch their second webOS powered smartphone named Pixi later this year.
We are just waiting for Palm Pre to arrive here in India!
