Pelco to provide technology to Cisco
Cisco Systems would use Pelco technology to develop high-definition IP based video security cameras.
These co-branded cameras would use Pelco’s Sarix technology. Schneider Electric is the parent company of Pelco.
The company claimed that this technology would enable the cameras to shoot well in low light and would deliver full-frame-rate video.
Cisco is aiming to launch the first products in this range before the end of the current year.
