Apple sued by Eminem’s music publisher

Eight Mile Style and Martin Affiliated have filed a lawsuit against Apple.

The two companies claim that Apple never had the rights to sell their owned songs on Apple iTunes.

The lawsuit claims that Apple sold around 93 songs from their label on iTunes.

Eight Mile is also suing Aftermath Records which they claim had no rights to make the deal with Apple for digital downloads of their music.

The publishers also claim that they should also gain from the sales of Apple iPod digital media players.

Apple on their part has claimed that they have the permissions from Aftermath Records.

Eminem has been critical of online downloads even in some of his songs.
