USB Implementers Forum ok with Apple blocking Palm Pre from iTunes
Palm Pre had one unique feature which no other non-Apple phone had… It could connect to Apple iTunes for syncing purposes.
Apple disabled this ability in the new releases of iTunes.
Palm complained about this act to the USB Implementers Forum claiming that Apple was not doing the right thing.
USB Implementers Forum has responded that they support Apple’s motives in this particular case.
Palm Pre while connecting to iTunes pretended to be an Apple product fooling iTunes in allowing the connectivity.
