HP Enterprise Services is the new brand name of EDS
World’s largest personal computer maker Hewlett Packard has announced that they are renaming their EDS subsidiary as HP Enterprise Services.
HP had acquired EDS last year and it has become an important part of their product offerings. EDS acquisition was part of a 13.9 billion dollar deal!
The company spoke about their decision to rename this division: “The name change marks the next major step in a year-long integration of EDS into HP and emphasizes the growing global role of enterprise technology services in HP’s portfolio.”
HP added that they are also renaming their Technology Solutions Group as HP Enterprise Business.
