Dion Almaer and Ben Galbraith joining Palm

Dion Almaer and Ben Galbraith have revealed on their blogs that they are joining smartphone maker Palm.

Dion Almaer and Ben Galbraith are well known faces in the web standards space.

They have previously worked for the Mozilla Developer Tools Lab.

Both of them are likely to join Palm as the directors of the Palm Developer Relations team.

Almaer had this to say on his blog: “We will have the responsibility of the developer experience with Palm. We will be trying to create a rich connective tissue between the company and the Web developer community that we love.”

Palm launched webOS mobile platform earlier this year which is being used by all of their new products.
