Intel Sodaville Atom based chips for Television

Intel continues to work hard to get an entry into the consumer electronics segment.

The company showcased their latest Sodaville range of chips that are based on their Atom range of processors.

Intel Sodaville chip range is designed to be used in television set top boxes.

The first of the processor has been named Intel Atom Processor CE4100. It would come loaded with a 1080p video engine. It can be used with either DDR-2 or DDR-3 memory.
