Apple Tablet PC could be a glorified iPod Touch
More rumors are coming out connected to the much talked about Apple Tablet PC.
Apple has not given a single hint that they are working on such a device.
But the general perception in the market is that they are going to launch a new product early next year.
Steve Jobs I said to be heavily involved in the development process which would ensure that it would be a quality device.
The reports claim that the Apple Tablet PC would feature a 10.7” screen.
It would be powered by the Apple iPhone OS which well runs the iPod Touch and iPhone.
It is likely to look like a bigger brother of the iPhone with a similar design and shape.
Two versions are likely to arrive. One would feature 3G support, the other will not.
It is likely to feature a touchscreen display capable of 720p resolution.
And one thing that could appear with this device is the launch of ebooks on the Apple iTunes store.
Apple iPad could become a very strong challenger to the Amazon Kindle.
