AT&T to offer TerreStar Networks Genus satellite smartphone
TerreStar Networks has announced that they would sell their Genus satellite smartphone through AT&T in the US market.
This phone connects to satellites when it cannot find any cellular signal.

Jeffrey Epstein, TerreStar Networks president said that the aim of this device is to provide true ubiquity and reliability virtually anywhere in the United States.
Genus smartphone is powered by Windows Mobile operating system. It also features support for Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
It connects to TerreStar-1 satellite when the device cannot connect to local mobile network.
