Google continues to expand search options!
Google has officially announced a series of new search options now available on their search engine.
Some of these have been available for sometime now.
All of these new features make searching a fun on Google. And this is probably the reason why it has been snatching away market share from both Microsoft Bing and Yahoo Search.
Here are some of the new features:
Past hour and Specific date range: You can now search for content indexed in a particular time range.
More shopping sites and Fewer shopping sites: Hide sites like eBay and Amazon if you are not looking to purchase a product. And the opposite effect as well.
Visited pages and Not yet visited: This one is cool. You can hide the results you have already visited in the past!
Books, Blogs and News: Limit the search results from one of these sources. You do not need to change your search engine source!
