Apple claims Woolworths logo mimics their own
Apple has one of the most recognized logos in the world.
The company is now targeting Woolworths which is based in Australia with a potential trademark infringement claim.
Apple claims that the new logo recently unveiled by Woolworths mimics their own.
Woolworths said in a statement about this dispute: “They have lodged an objection but they have not made a case.”

The company added: “We absolutely say it is a stylised ‘W’ that can be any kind of fresh produce. Some people say it looks like a lettuce, some people say it can be a pumpkin.”
Apple has claimed that they have a problem with the trademark application filed by Woolworth.
Woolworth has filed a blanket trademark for their new logo that would enable them to use it on any kind of product including computers and consumer electronics.
