Microsoft My Phone out of beta with some premium features

Microsoft has finally taken out their My Phone service from the beta testing phase.

It also now features some new services which are paid only.

Microsoft My Phone is similar to Apple MobileMe service. It enables a user of Windows Mobile smartphone to backup their phone’s content on the cloud.

The data is saved and can be restored at a later stage.

It is a must have service to use if you are using a Windows Mobile powered smartphone.

The service now has some paid features including:

Ring your phone: You can use this to get the phone to ring in case you cannot find it.

Locate your phone: If you lose your phone, you can use this feature to locate your phone on a MAP. Requires GPS capabilities on the smartphone.

Lock your phone: You can remotely lock your phone if you lose it. You can also display your information on the lock screen to enable anyone who finds it to contact you.

Erase your phone: Remotely wipe-out all the data on your phone in case you lost it.

These additional features are available for USD 4.99. You can try them out for 60 days.
