Eolas Technologies targets Apple, Google, Yahoo and more with patent lawsuit
Eolas Technologies filed a patent lawsuit against Microsoft and won it.
They are now targeting a lot more companies this time around claiming patent infringement.
Eolas claims that these companies are infringing upon their owned patents. These patents are related to interactivity on the web using plug-ins or web technologies.
Adobe is being sued for their products and services including: adobe.com, tv.adobe.com, Adobe Flash and Adobe Shockwave.
Apple is being sued for Apple.com and Apple Safari.
Google has been sued for their Google Chrome web browser.
Other companies being targeted in this latest round of lawsuits include: The Go Daddy Group, CDW, Perot Systems, JC Penney, JP Morgan Chase, Frito-Lay, Blockbuster, Citigroup, Office Depot, Playboy Enterprise International, Staples, Rent-a-Center, Argosy Publishing, and New Frontier Media.
